Fabien VERSCHAERE

Lives and works in Paris
Fabien Verschaere created a singular body of work, a universe populated by hybrid creatures, monsters and chimeras from his own imagination. His paintings are inspired by the worlds of fairy tales and mythology, as well as art history and comic strips. He expresses himself through watercolour, drawing, painting, ceramics, installation and animated film. He has exhibited at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the Mac de Lyon, La Force de l'Art and the Musée d'Art Moderne in Saint Etienne.
