Luciano Castelli, a former member of the Berlin group Neue Wilde,
Addresses the notion of identity through the exploration of the body
and its representation. He expresses himself through a variety of media, including painting, drawing, photography, video and performance. An artist of international renown, he has recently taken part in the exhibitions Young and Wild: Art in Germany in 1980 at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, Drag: Self-portrait and Body Politics at the Hayward Gallery in London and Libres figurations années 80 at the FHEL in Landerneau (Brittany).
